Create a New Virtual Machine
Step 1. First of all, launch the VMware on your PC then click on Create a New Virtual Machine.

Step 4. In the window of the guest operating system select Linux and then open the drop-down menu of version and choose Other Linux 5.x Kernel 64-Bit.

Step 5. Now, type the name of your virtual machine after that let the location be selected by default.
Step 6. Here check Store Virtual Disk As a Single File and also see a higher disk size because it can be used further.

Edit Your Virtual Machine
When you successfully create a new virtual machine and then you have to make some changes in the settings of your virtual machine. and after making changes in the virtual machine settings then you can observe a better performance. The given guide is for editing the virtual machine’s settings.
Step 1. Launch the VMware and select the virtual machine after that click on Edit Virtual Machine Settings.

Step 4. Now, go to the CD/DVD (IDE) from the left pane then check the box of Use ISO Image File after that tap on Browse.

Step 1. Firstly, select the virtual machine then click on Power On This Virtual Machine.

Step 2. Now, the installation will start soon and you have to wait till the process should be done. Then once the installation is done simply click on Graphical Install after that hit the Enter button.

Step 4. Next, choose your location and basically select the place where you are living, and then according to that the time zone will be set. Unluckily if your location is not above that list then click on the Other after that tap on Continue.

Step 7. Here type the hostname for your system and the hostname will identify your system to the network and tap on Continue.

Step 9. In the blank, simply type your full name and tap on Continue.

Step 12. Select a clock to choose your time zone then tap on Continue.

Step 14. There is written a note which says that the selected disk’s data will be removed and you don’t worry about the data because it is safe and the data is in a separate disk. Select SCS13 (0,0,0) (sda) – 42.9 GB VMware, VMware Virtual S then click on Continue.

Step 15. In this step, you have to select partitioning after that choose All Files In One Partition (Recommend For New Users) and tap on Continue.

Step 16. Then select Finish Partitioning and Write Changes to Disk then click on Continue.

Step 17. Check the box of Yes and click on Continue.
Step 18. The process of installing the base system will start and you have to wait till the process should be done.
Step 19. In the window of software selection, I am going to select Desktop Environment [Selecting This Item Has No Effect] then tap on Continue.

Step 21. In installing the GRUB boot loader window you have to choose /dev/sda (ata-VBOX_HARDDISK_VB412ab924-e6c11192) and click on Continue.

Step 22. Now, the installation of Kali Linux will start soon.
Step 23. Click on Continue which will start booting your virtual machine.

Step 24. At last, your virtual machine restarted and again enter and power on the Kali Linux after that enter your username and password and hit the Enter button.
Step 25. Finally, the new operating system has been installed on your Windows PC.
