What are the Requirements For the Installation Process?
The following are the requirements that are going to be used to install macOS High Sierra. And once you download the given files and have enough space then you need to download and install VirtualBox and set it up. If you already have VirtualBox then that is great.

- 25 GB HDD
- At least a dual-core CPU (recommend Quad Core CPU)

- A command file
Step 1. Download macOS High Sierra
So, the step to find the exact copy of macOS High Sierra, for that you have to head toward Apple’s support web page and then simply search for the image then download it. Once you reached to downloading process then you will the file type and by default the file type is DMG. Then you change the file type to VMDK or you can select ISO file. But I will recommend you choose the VMDK file type because it will be easy to go ahead with any problem. The main thing is that you have to select the location for your file and select an appropriate location, simply the destination which there can’t be any problem while accessing.
Step 2. Create Virtual Machine
Step 1. First of all, launch the Oracle VM VirtualBox Manager then click on New.

Step 2. Then it will take you to the window where you can create a virtual machine. Type HighSierra in the name section then don’t do anything with the Machine folder after that expand the drop-down menu of Type and select Mac OS X. Expand the drop-down menu of version then choose macOS 10. 12 Sierra (64-bit) then tap on Ok.

Step 3. Now, go to the Memory Size section then move the slider to the right side and stop it to 4096 MB which means 4GB then tap on Next.

Step 4. In the section of Hard disk simply check the box of Use an Existing Virtual Hard Disk File and tap on the Folder icon at the bottom right side then select the downloaded High Sierra VMDK image file which you download in Step 1.

Step 5. After that, also check the Hard Disk Selector and select the file, if the file is not selected then select it.
Step 6. Next, go back to the Create Virtual machine screen then tap on Create.
Step 3. Execute Commands in CMD
This step is really important because we are going to modify the VirtualBox Manager so that it should let us use the operating system without facing any kind of error. Launch the CMD and don’t forget to run it as administrator.

Step 1. When you launch the Command prompt then execute the following command.
cd "C:\Program Files\Oracle\VirtualBox\"
Step 2. Now, once you successfully execute the above command then copy and paste the given command. And if you want to change the name of HighSierra, then simply remove it and type any name that you want.

Now, you could close the window of the Command prompt and then go to the VirtualBox Manager.
Step 4. Change Virtual Machine Settings
Step 1. Launch the Oracle VM VirtualBox Manager then click on the HighSierra from the left side after that select Settings.

Step 2. Go to System from the left side of the screen and head towards the Motherboard tab then uncheck the box Floopy from the section of Boot Order. Then check if the size of the memory is 4096 MB.

Step 3. Tap on the Processor tab then set the slider to 2.
Step 4. Now, tap on the Display which is in the left pane after that move the slider to the max level from the Video memory section.
Step 5. At last, click on Ok.
Step 5. Setup macOS High Sierra
Step 1. Firstly, go to the main screen of Oracle VM VirtualBox Manager then select HighSierra after that tap on Start.

Step 2. Now, the machine starts to boot and will prepare a setup process, it will consume some moment of your time and wait till then.
Step 3. Next, the first window is the welcome screen where you have to find your country and select it and tap on Continue.
Step 4. Here you can leave this step and simply click on Continue.
Step 5. Check the box of Don’t Transfer Any Information Now and tap on Continue.
Step 6. If you have an Apple ID account then type there and sign in to your account, if not then select Don’t Sign In and tap on Continue.
Step 7. Then the pop-up message will appear and will ask you to agree with the terms and conditions. Click on the Agree.
Step 8. In the window of Create a Computer Account, you have to type your name in the Full name field then type your Account Name. Select any strong password after that there is a hint option that is optional. Once you are done then tap on Continue.
Step 9. Click on the Continue.
